Recipe Introduction
Best served while still warm. A nice addition to a brunch menu. Makes 12 muffins.
List of Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Spray muffin cups with vegetable spray.
- In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg and 3/4 cup sugar.
- In small bowl, mix egg, milk and oil.
- Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir just until combined.
- Place batter in greased muffin cups and bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
- Remove muffins from oven. Combine 1 teaspoon cinnamon and remaining sugar in a small bowl.
- Gently roll muffin tops in melted butter, then in cinnamon sugar.
- Enjoy.
