List of Ingredients
- 5 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2/3 cup molasses
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Grease well two 9" x 5" loaf pans and set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt with large spoon.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, honey and molasses; add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir just to combine.
- Pour into greased pans. Bake for 40 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing.
