    Recipe Introduction


    Keeps well in the refrigerator for several days or can be frozen. Delicious plain or spread with cream cheese.
    So easy to put together.


    List of Ingredients


    • 5 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    • 4 tsp. baking soda
    • 2 tsp. salt
    • 1 quart buttermilk
    • 1/2 c. honey
    • 2/3 cup molasses


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease well two 9" x 5" loaf pans and set aside.
    2. In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt with large spoon.
    3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, honey and molasses; add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir just to combine.
    4. Pour into greased pans. Bake for 40 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.
    5. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
