Pretzel Chicken

Tasty and low fat. Use boneless-skinless breasts instead of the cut-up fryer if you prefer.
List of Ingredients
- 6 large sourdough pretzels, such as Snyder's of Hanover
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 whole chicken, skinned if desired, and cut up
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated skim milk
- Vegetable spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400. Spray a 9" x 13" pan with vegetable spray.
- Using food processor or rolling pin, crush pretzels to make fine crumbs. Place crumbs in medium sized bowl and add salt, pepper, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder and parsley; stir to combine.
- In another bowl, combine cut-up chicken and evaporated milk. Stir to coat all of chicken.
- Remove chicken from milk and roll in pretzel crumbs to coat evenly.
- Place chicken in baking dish and bake for 50 - 60 minutes or until meat can be easily pulled away from the bone.
