    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
    • 1 cup evaporated milk
    • 1 1/2 cup of nuts


    Instructions


    1. Combine both sugars, corn syrup and milk.
    2. Cook, stirring until sugar dissolves, to soft ball stage.
    3. Cool at room temp without stirring, until lukewarm.
    4. Beat until it holds its shape.
    5. Knead till firm, keeping hands greased.
    6. Shape into 2 1 1/2 inch rolls.
    7. Roll into the nuts.
    8. Press nutmeats firmly into candy.
    9. Wrap in waxed paper.
    10. Chill slices in 1/2 inch pieces.
