    Bar cookies (also called Butterscotch brownies)

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 cups flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 cup coconut
    1 cup nuts

    Recipe



    Cook butter and sugar over low heat until bubbly. Cool. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Add vanilla, sifted dry ingredients, and nuts. Spread in 10 1/2 x 15-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350.
