    This was one of her signature recipes, which the card says came from a neighbor named Fay Tuck.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup brown sugar
    ½ cup butter
    4 eggs, beaten
    3 tsp baking soda
    3 cups flour
    1 tsp each: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
    ½ cup whiskey (bourbon)
    1 ½ lb pecans (6 cups)
    3 tbsp milk
    ½ lb candied cherries, cut up
    ½ lb candied pineapple, cut up
    ½ lb chopped dates

    Recipe



    Cream sugar, butter, eggs, milk. Combine dry ingredients and add to cut up fruits and nuts. Add egg mixture and whiskey to fruit mixture. Drop on greased baking sheet and bake at 225 for 30 minutes.

    Yield: 11-12 doz.
