    1 yellow cake, stale
    1 jar Smucker's raspberry or apricot preserves
    1 small box cooked vanilla pudding
    1/2 pint cream, whipped
    1 pkg frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup brandy or sherry
    Slivered almonds

    Recipe



    Layer in bowl:

    cake, 1/4 cup brandy, preserves; repeat; strawberries, pudding, whipped cream. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Chill.
