Garlic Parmesan Crisps
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
4 pita breads (6 inch)
grated Parmesan cheese
In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and basil until well blended. Let stand one hour.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cut each round into 6 wedges. Split each wedge in half. Spread each wedge with butter mixture. Lightly sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp. WATCH CAREFULLY! They should not get browned.
Serve with a sour cream and herb dip.
Yields 4 dozen.
