Apple Crisp Pie
FILLING:
1 can apple pie filling (E.D. Smith is best)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 cup raisins
TOPPING:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup margarine
3/4 cup rolled oats
One 9" Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Crust (homemade or frozen, prepared according to directions).
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine apple pie filling, raisins and spices. Pour into prepared crust.
In another small bowl, combine brown sugar and flour. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender. Stir in oats. Sprinkle topping over apples and pat gently.
Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
Serves 6.
