Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans (may substitute walnuts)Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in remaining ingredients, stirring until flour is well mixed in.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet, 2" apart.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes on centre rack of oven.
Let stand on wire rack for 2 minutes. Remove the cookies to cool completly on rack.
Store cookies in a container with lid, placing waxed paper between layers.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.
