Armenian Herb Marinade
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup tomato juice
1/4 cup lemon juice or white wine
1/4 cup snipped fresh parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried majoram leaves, crushed
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Place lamb, pork, beef or chicken in marinating dish.
Pour marinade over meat and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
Turn meat occaisionally. Cook meat as desired.
Makes 1-3/4 cups
