    Teriyaki Marinade

    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup soya sauce
    1 Tbsp. grated, fresh gingeroot
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 cup beer or wine

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a jar. Seal and shake to combine. Add beer; swirl or stir gently to combine.

    Place chicken or beef in marinating dish. Pour marinade over meat; lift meat so marinade flows under. Cover and refrigerate about 3 hours. Turn meat occaisionally.
