A meal in a bowl!
List of Ingredients
2 large heads Romaine or Red Leaf lettuce, hand-
shredded.(Wash WELL, pat or spin dry.Tear, don't
cut!)
3 to 4 medium fresh,diced tomatoes
1 bunch chopped green onions(blades too)
1 bunch radishes,sliced thin
1 medium purple onion, cut in thin rings
1 large bell pepper, cut in thin strips
1 can Garbanzo beans
1 small can black (or green) olives
1 pint fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 package sprouts of your choice
1 package "salad crunchies" (if available)
1 8oz package shredded parmesan(or cheddar)cheese
3 hard-boiled eggs, diced
2 medium cucumbers
2 cans or tins of smoked oysters (steamed also OK)
2 cans anchovy filets ( if you like them)
1 pound crab meat (imitation crabmeat also ok)
(for the next 3 ingredients we buy Buddig thin-
sliced sandwich meats in the 6-ounce packages &
thinly slice them on a cutting board)
2 pkgs(6 ounces) thinly sliced shredded turkey
breast
2pkgs(6 ounces) shredded chicken
2 pkgs(6 ounces) shredded roast beef
Recipe
Toss well & keep chilled.
Top with bacon bits , croutons, & salad dressing
of your choice just before serving.
