Recipe Introduction
2 tbsp Hungarian Paprika (the good kind, there IS a difference!)
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried thyme finely crumbled ( I use a mortar and pestle)
1/2 tsp dried oregano finely crumbled (mortar and pestle)
1 tsp Cayenne powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground pepper

I actually put the thyme, oregano, salt and pepper together in the mortar and pestle and grind them all to a powder.
Mix all ingredients and put in a shaker jar. Use on any meat or fowl. Shake on chicken before frying or grilling. Excellent on turkey and pork or beef. I have even sprinkled it on salads. It is a very versatile seasoning. I usually make a double batch as I use so much of it.
The single batch makes about a half a cup.
