    Banana Oatmeal Cookies


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 c. shortening
    • 1 c. sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1&1/2 c. flour
    • 1/2 t. soda
    • 1 t. cinnamon
    • 1/4 t. nutmeg
    • 1&3/4 c. oatmeal
    • 1 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3)
    • 1/2 c. nuts or raisins


    Instructions


    1. Cream shortening and sugar, blend in egg and banana. Combine dry ingredients and mix in. Stir in nuts or raisins.
    2. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased sheets. Bake at 400 for 12-15 min.
