    Potatoes and Sausage au Gratin


    1 lg. box Betty Crocker au Gratin Potatoes
    1 lb polish sausage
    1 bag frozen California vegetables
    3 cups water
    2TBLS cooking oil
    1-1/2 cups shredded co-jack cheese

    Slice sausages into bite size pieces and cook in large skillet in oil, set aside. In same skillet add potatoes cheese packet and water, cook until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes over medium heat, add frozen vegies and meat,( you may need to add a little more water at this point or even some milk, sometimes as much as a cup, just make sure the sauce covers everything). Cook until frozen vegies reach desired doneness, at the last minute, add shredded cheese and cover to melt cheese. Serves 6.
