    Turkey Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 tbls. butter
    • 4 tbls. flour
    • 3 cups skim milk
    • 1 lb. linguine
    • 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 3 cups cooked turkey.
    • 1 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese.
    • Parmesan cheese
    • salt and pepper
    • 4 cloves minced garlic


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400. Cook linguine to al dente stage.

    2. Melt butter and saute garlic and onion briefly. Add flour and cook on medium heat for one minute, stirring constantly.

    3. Add milk to roux and bring to a boil, whisking frequently. Reduce heat to low and add salt and pepper.

    4. In large bowl, mix linguine, turkey, and sauce. Pour into a large, greased casserole. Top with monterey jack cheese and bake 30 minutes.

    5. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
