Turkey Chili

Recipe Introduction
An easy and lowfat meal. This recipe is child-friendly. Add more chili pepper to taste for an adult version.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 (or more!) garlic cloves, chopped fine
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (can substitute other vinegar.)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- In large skillet, brown turkey with chili powder
- Add garlic and onion to skillet and cook for one- two minutes.
- Pour turkey mixture into crockpot, add all other ingredients and mix well.
- Cook on high one to two hours, or on low for a minimum of three hours.
Final Comments
Serve with chopped green onion, chopped black olives, sour cream and/or shredded cheese.
