Jumbo Stuffed Shells

- 12 oz. package of jumbo shells
- 1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin or turkey burger
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup grated parmessan
- 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper
- 1 8 oz package part skim mozzarella, shredded
- Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350.
- Cook pasta shells in boiling water, drain and set aside.
- Cook burger in a skillet and drain any excess fat.
- Add egg whites, parmesan, bread crumbs, parsley, basil, oregano and salt and pepper. Stuff shells with this filling.
- Pour 2 cups of tomato sauce in a 2 quart baking dish.
- Place shells in dish and cover with remaining sauce.
- Bake for 20 minutes, sprinkle with mozzarella and continue baking for 10 minutes.
