Easy pie crust recipe
List of Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour, sifted
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup crisco
- 6-7 tablespoons of ice water
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt. Cut in lard with a pastry blender. Working quickly, blend until you have a mix of tiny irregular flakes about the size of course bread crumbs.
- Add water, sprinkled, one tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork.
- When dough forms a rough mass, it is ready to roll out on a floured board.
