    Easy pie crust recipe


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/4 cups flour, sifted
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 cup crisco
    • 6-7 tablespoons of ice water


    Instructions


    1. Mix flour and salt. Cut in lard with a pastry blender. Working quickly, blend until you have a mix of tiny irregular flakes about the size of course bread crumbs.
    2. Add water, sprinkled, one tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork.
    3. When dough forms a rough mass, it is ready to roll out on a floured board.
