    Simple Summer Tart

    List of Ingredients


    • Basic Pie Crust (see recipe)
    • Sugar
    • 5 to 6 cups of washed, sliced fruit.
    • Vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream


    Instructions


    1. Roll out dough to 1/8 inch in any shape you wish. Place on a baking sheet and roll up 1/2 inch lip all around to hold fruit.

    2. Pierce all over with a fork, and bake at 425 for 15 - 25 minutes, until crust is golden brown and crisp.

    3. Sprinkle with 2 -3 tablespoons of sugar as soon as you take it out of the oven.

    4. Let cool completely and fill with fruit. If fruit is tart, sprinkle with sugar.

    5. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
