Chicken Tikka Masala

Recipe Introduction
The sauce makes this dish. It can be doubled and used to serve the chicken over rice, or as a dipping sauce for Roti or bread. Spices can be adjusted to taste, and jalapeno or other chile can be added. Salt and pepper are also optional.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tbls lemon juice
- 2 teas cumin
- 1 teas cinnimon
- 1 tbls ginger
- 4 chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 tbls butter
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 2 teas cumin
- 2 teas paprika
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 cup non-fat half and half
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (or basil)
Instructions
- combine first five ingredients for marinade. Marinate chicken 1-2 hours in a plastic bag.
- Grill chicken, or stir fry.
- Melt butter. stir in garlic and saute. add dried spices, then stir in tomato sauce and cream. simmer on low about 20 minutes, until sauce thickens. Add chicken.

If in a rush, just skip the marinade!
