    Indian Butter Chicken

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/3 cup butter
    • 1 onion, minced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 15 ounce can of tomato sauce
    • 2 cups non-fat half and half
    • 2 teas salt
    • 1 teas cayenne pepper
    • 1 teas garam masala
    • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast, cubed
    • 2 teas vegetable oil
    • 2 teas tandoori masala (or curry powder)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375.Toss chicken with oil, season with tandoori masala or curry and bake about 12 minutes or until done.

    2. Melt 2 teas butter in a saucepan and saute onions and garlic. Cook until onion carmelizes to a light brown - 15 minutes.

    3. In a separate large saucepan, melt remaining butter and add all other ingredients. simmer for 30 minutes, then add onions.

    4. Add chicken to sauce and serve over rice.
