Recipe Introduction
Sylvia Seiler's latkes were famous in Duluth. Best when piping hot - often served with applesauce.
List of Ingredients
- 4 Large Yukon Gold Potatoes. (must be yukon gold.),
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teas salt
- 2 tbls flour
- 1 small onion, grated.
- pepper
- Vegtable oil for frying.
Instructions
- Scrub potatoes and grate in a food processor.
- Drain potatoes and pat dry with paper towels to remove liquid.
- Mix well with eggs, salt, pepper and flour.
- Form into thin patties and fry in 1/2 inch of hot oil until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
