    Recipe Introduction


    Sylvia Seiler's latkes were famous in Duluth. Best when piping hot - often served with applesauce.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 Large Yukon Gold Potatoes. (must be yukon gold.),
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1/2 teas salt
    • 2 tbls flour
    • 1 small onion, grated.
    • pepper
    • Vegtable oil for frying.


    Instructions


    1. Scrub potatoes and grate in a food processor.
    2. Drain potatoes and pat dry with paper towels to remove liquid.
    3. Mix well with eggs, salt, pepper and flour.
    4. Form into thin patties and fry in 1/2 inch of hot oil until crisp.
    5. Drain on paper towels.
