    Cook-It-Later Lasagna for Lazy Chefs

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups nonfat pasta sauce
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
    • 12 oz lasagna noodles, uncooked
    • 2 cups nonfat ricotta cheese
    • 3 cups shredded nonfat mozzarella cheese


    Instructions


    1. Spray 2 (9-inch-square) baking dishes with cooking spray. Combine pasta sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic powder; mix well. Pour 1 cup sauce in bottom of each baking dish. Layer 1/4 lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and sauce in each pan; repeat layers. Cover with foil and freeze. At least one day before serving: place lasagna in refrigerator (do not microwave) until completely thawed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake lasagna, covered, 45 to 50 minutes; remove foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Let stand at room temperature 5 to 10 minutes, until cheese sets. Lasagna can also be baked, frozen and reheated if desired.
