Chicken and Broccoli Mornay

- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 1-1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. white wine (Chablis, or white cooking wine...can be found by vinegar)
- 1/2 c. Swiss cheese (can use Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese instead)
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 t. white pepper
Instructions
- Cook chicken in water to cover, about 35-40 minutes. Cool. Slice in bite-sized pieces & put in casserole.
- Cook frozen chopped broccoli, drain. Put on top of chicken.
- Melt butter and stir in flour until smooth. SLOWLY add milk and stir until smooth and thickened over medium heat. Add white wine, Swiss cheese, Parmesan & white pepper. Stir til chesse melts and pour over the chicken & broccoli.
- Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
