Fresh Cut French Fries

- 2 1/4 pounds of potatoes
- 5 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Few Thyme Sprigs
Instructions
- Cut potatoes about 1/2 inch thick.
- Grab a pot and fill it 1/2 the way with water and add salt to it.
- Bring the water to a boil. Once the water is boiling add the fries and boil the fries for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Place fries on a paper towel on a plate. Allow a minute for the fries to drain.
- Pour Olive Oil over the fries
- Sprinke Pepper on the fries.
- Get a skillet and pour Olive oil in it, (about 1/8 of a cup)
- Mash garlic and put in skillet
- Add the fries next in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle Olive oil and a few Thyme sprigs on the fries while they are cooking.
- Once fries are done, take them out and put them on a paper towel to drain.
- Let fries stand for 2 minutes and then serve.
