Creole Pork Chops

List of Ingredients
- 4 pork chops, 1/2" thick
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon salad oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- One 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Season chops; brown in oil. Remove from skillet.
- Add onion, green pepper and garlic to skillet; cook until tender.
- Add remaining four ingredients and the pork chops.
- Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
- Serves 4.
