    Creole Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 pork chops, 1/2" thick
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 tablespoon salad oil
    • 1/2 cup chopped onions
    • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
    • 1 small clove garlic, minced
    • One 8-oz. can tomato sauce
    • 1 bay leaf


    Instructions


    1. Season chops; brown in oil. Remove from skillet.
    2. Add onion, green pepper and garlic to skillet; cook until tender.
    3. Add remaining four ingredients and the pork chops.
    4. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    5. Serves 4.
