Chili Weekend Concoction

List of Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10 oz.) diced tomatoes and green chilis (Ro-Tel®)
- 2 (15-1/2 oz.) cans chili beans in sauce
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1-1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) package corn chips
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
Instructions
- In colander over a microwave casserole, cook beef and onion for 6-9 minutes, covered, on HIGH (100%) power until done. Drain and place in a three-quart microwave casserole dish.
- Add tomatoes, soup and beans.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes on HIGH power, uncovered.
- In large, retangular casserole, layer meat mixture, cheese and chips. Repeat, ending with chips.
- Cook, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes on MEDIUM (50%) power.
