    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lb. Italian sausage rope, cut into 1-inch pieces (either hot or sweet, according to your preference)
    • 1-2 tablespoons oil
    • 2 6-oz. cans tomato paste
    • About 10 cups water
    • 8 small potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
    • 2 16-oz. cans French-style green beans, drained
    • Salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Brown sausage with oil in Dutch oven. Remove sausage from Dutch oven.
    2. Add tomato paste and water along with salt and pepper to Dutch oven. Bring to a boil and allow paste to dissolve.
    3. Add sausage back in, and add potatoes. Allow to cook until potatoes are tender and sauce begins to thicken (at least an hour.)
    4. Not long before serving, add beans. Heat through.
    5. Serve with Italian bread and salad.
