Recipe Introduction
Great recipe if you do not have the time or inclination to stuff artichokes.
List of Ingredients
ARTICHOKE HEARTS PASTA
1/4 c. olive oil
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cans of artichoke hearts, quartered and drained or 2 jars marinated artichoke drained
Sprinkle of pepper flakes
1 Jar Roasted red peppers cut up into slices
Parmasan Cheese to taste
1 cup bread crumbs with parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
1 lbs pasta
Recipe
Cook pasta, drain and add parsley for color and parmasan cheese to taste. Set aside.
Saute garlic in oil. Drain artichokes, slice up and add to garlic to warm up. Saute artichokes in garlic and oil for about 5 minutes. While sauteing, add red pepper, salt and pepper. After the 5 minutes, add roasted red peppers. Add to pasta and mix.
In a small skillet add ¼ cup of olive oil to the bottom of the pan and a add bread crumbs with parmasan cheese and brown mixture. Add more garlic, or garlic powder to crumbs. Do no burn, just brown. Pour over pasta and mix.
This can be served hot or cold.
