Recipe Introduction
This is a basic recipe that we used each Sunday and Wednesday. We cut the pasta and laid it out on clean sheets on my moms bed and let it dry. I no longer let it dry that long and make just enough to serve. Still tastes wonderful.
List of Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Flour for each person expected to eat
- 1 Egg for each person expected to eat
- Splash of olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Water enough to mix dough
Instructions
- Make a well in the middle of your flour and add eggs, oil and salt.
- Break your eggs as you are mixing flour into the center of your flour.
- Mix dough till it is smooth, or your arms fall off.
- Place dough to rest on the counter with a bowl over it.
It should rest for at least an hour, but have let my rest for many hours.
- Roll out dough and cut as you want for angel hair, fettichini noodle etc..
- Boil water as you are cutting. Put in noodle and cook them to desired firmness. We like ours harder, so that is about 5 minutes. For you softies, it will take a bit longer.
