Crockpot Swiss Steak

A healthy homestyle crockpot dish. I serve this with mashed potatoes and green beans. A real family favorite
List of Ingredients
1 lb lean round steak (all visible fat removed)
1 Can Tomatoe Sauce (not paste)
1 Onion thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic minced
Recipe
Cut the round steak into 5 equal amounts (I use the WW scales for this)
Brown each side in a skillet (do not use added fat) salt and pepper to taste
Place each piece in the bottom of a crockpot
Place onion slices on top of the meat
Mix together in a small mixing bowl the tomato sauce and garlic and pour on top of meat and onions.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
