    Deana's Cinnamon Rolls

    Source of Recipe

    Deana Webster

    Recipe Introduction

I like to make these rolls for Dad's (Frank) birthday once in a while. Everyone loves them. --DEANA

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/4 Cup Milk
    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1 tsp. Salt
    2 Sticks Butter
    1 pkg Dry Yeast
    1/4 Cup Warm Water
    3 Eggs, beaten
    5 1/2 Cup Flour
    Butter
    Sugar
    1/2 cup Cinnamon
Raising and Nuts optional but I don't like them

    Topping:
    2 cups Powdered Sugar
    3 TBSP Milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. water

    Recipe

Scald Milk, add next 3 ingredients.

In a different bowl, add yeast, water, and eggs. Combine mixtures and add flour. Set in warm place for 3 hours. Take fork and poke hole in dough; cover. Put in fridge over night.

Roll dough on floured table. Rub with butter and and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll into a log. Use fine thread or plain floss and cut into 1 inch pieces. Put in greased pan with sides. If there are no sides, the rolls will fall over the sides and make a mess in your oven, and it's not fun to clean up. Let stand or rise for 2 hours. Bake at 300 degrees until light brown.

Remove from oven and drizzle topping over rolls, while still warm. Yummy, yummy!
