1/4 - 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 box lemon OR butter cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Mountain Dew®
4 eggs
1 package coconut cream instant pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract - optional
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract - optional
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup Mountain Dew®
1/4 - 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bundt cake pan and sprinkle with shredded coconut [as much as desired]. Beat together cake mix, oil, water, Mountain Dew®, eggs, and pudding mix. Pour into prepared cake pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Bring extracts, butter, sugar, and Mountain Dew® to a boil and heat until glaze coats a spoon. Poke holes into cake with a fork as soon as it comes out of the oven and pour glaze over cake. Allow cake to cool completely before turning upside onto a plate and cutting.
