Churchill Downs' Bourbon Balls

5 cups crushed vanilla wafer crumbs
2 cups chopped chocolate
4 T cocoa
2 cups chopped nuts
6 T light corn syrup
1 cup Woodford Reserve bourbon
Recipe
In large bowl combine cookie crumbs, sugar, cocoa and nuts; stir with large spoon. Add corn syrup and bourbon; mix well with spoon. In a double boiler on low heat melt chocolate until smooth. Take about a tablespoon of dough and roll into ball; dip bourbon ball in chocolate using a fork. Shake off excess chocolate and place on waxed paper until cool. Store in a cool dry place.
