mummy's yummy truffles
List of Ingredients
1 small sponge cake
1 medium bar of chocolate (either milk or plain)
1 small carton double cream
2 teaspoons of flavouring(orange juice)
cocoa or vermicelli Recipe
crush the cake into small crumbs in a mixing bowl,melt the chocolate till smooth and runny (either in the microwave on low heat, or in a bowl over a pan of hot water)
mix the cake and chocolate together then add the cream and flavouring.if the mixture is too sticky refridgerate for a few minutes to set slightly
take teaspoons full of mixture and roll into a ball ,then roll in either the cocoa or vermicelli,place on a plate and refridgerate until set
if making as an adult alternative use your favourite liquer in place of orange juice
you can also coat with more melted chocolate instead of the cocoa/vermicelli
