Cheddar Cheese Straws

- 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 stick softened butter
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream the cheese and butter together using an electric mixer. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Roll out the dough to a 1/4" thick rectangle on a floured cutting board. Cut the dough into 3-4" long by a 1/2" thick strips. Twist the strips a few times and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Place in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a rack.
