Recipe Introduction
You won't need butter for this moist, sweet treat.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 (8 oz) container fat-free plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup fat-free milk
- 1 T honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425. Spray an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- In another bowl, combine egg, yogurt, milk and honey; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake 16 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
