Cream Cheese Jam Biscuits

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 T (3/4 stick) butter, softened
- 1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
- various fruit jams for filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended. In a small mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese. Stir until well blended. Add to flour and and beat together until you have a smooth well-blended dough.
- Transfer dough to a floured work surface and roll into a circle about 1/2" thick. Using a floured, 1 1/2" biscuit cutter, cut out rounds. Roll scraps together and cut out more rounds. Arrange rounds on prepared baking sheet about 1/2" apart. Using a floured finger, make a small indentation in center of each round, spoon a little jam into each indentation and bake in center of oven until golden, about 12 minutes.
