    • 3/4 cup salted butter
    • 2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1 cup milk


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350°.
    2. In a 9-x-13-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. When butter is melted, remove baking dish from oven.
    3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cheese, sugar, and Italian seasoning. Add milk, stirring until dough forms.
    4. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead 8 to 10 times. Roll or pat dough to form an 8-x-12-inch rectangle. Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter dipped in flour, cut dough into 16 (3/4-x-8-inch) strips.
    5. Add strips to pan, basting well with melted butter.
    6. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.
