    Honey Cornbread


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup honey


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease an 8" square baking pan; set aside.
    2. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend together eggs, milk, butter and honey; add to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
    3. Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until tested done if center springs back after being pressed lightly.
    4. Serve warm.
