Lemon Tea Bread

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 small lemon, grated
- 3 T lemon juice
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Glaze:
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and lightly flour 4 mini loaf pans and set aside.
- Beat together first 6 ingredients. Combine and stir in the dry ingredients. Do not overmix. Divide batter between loaf pans and bake for 45-50 minutes.
- Allow to cool in pans on a rack. When cool, drizzle top with lemon glaze.
- LEMON GLAZE: Stir ingredients together until well blended.
