- 1 (10 oz) pkg refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
- 1 large sweet onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Unroll pizza dough; place on a baking sheet. Press handle of a wooden spoon into dough to make indentations at 1" intervals; brush with 2 T olive oil.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cut onion into thin slices; cut each slice in half.
- Saute onion in remaining 2 T olive oil over medium heat about 8 minutes or until browned. Add garlic and next 3 ingredients, and saute 1 minute.
- Top pizza crust with onion mixture, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
