- 1/4 lb margarine
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Filling:
- 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 pint small-curd cottage cheese
- 2 eggs yolks
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Mix filling ingredient well. Pour one-half of the batter into a 13x9" greased baking dish. Drop filling by spoonfuls over batter, spreading it out as much as possible with a knife. The filling and batter will mix slightly. Pour the remaining batter on the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, bring the dish to room temperature, then bake at 350 degrees for one hour until puffed and golden. Cut into serving portions and serve with syrup and sour cream, or serve with a blueberry sauce.
