- Lemon-Scented Honey (below)
- 2 cups baking mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 T poppy seeds
- 2 tsps grated lemon peel
- 2 tsps fresh lemon juice
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Prepare Lemon-Scented Honey. Heat griddle or skillet; grease if necessary. Beat remaining ingredients with wire whisk or hand beater until well blended.
- Pour batter by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle.
- Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden brown. Serve with Lemon-Scented Honey.

Mix honey and lemon in 1 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Remove lemon before serving.
