    Bundt cakes, pound cakes, angel food cakes, and chiffon cakes all look pretty on their own. They will always look (and taste) better, though, when drizzled with a little glaze.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
    • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice or orange juice
    • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest or orange zest
    • Pinch table salt


    Instructions


    1. Mix all the glaze ingredients together until smooth, then let sit until thickened, about 25 minutes.
    2. Pour the glaze over the top of the cake after it has completely cooled, allowing the glaze to drip down the sides. Let set before serving, about 10 minutes.

    Makes 1 1/2 to 2 cups
