This recipe is so very good - it borders on the edge of tasing like an egg custard. And it has a bonus - it's easy!
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter; pour sugar in a bowl, and blend.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour equal amounts of mixture into pie shells.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until set and golden brown.
