Fudgy Valentine Cake




List of Ingredients



• 1 cup butter or margarine
  
• 2 1/3 cups flour
  
• 2 1/3 cups white sugar
  
• 1 cup cocoa powder
  
• 2 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 tsp salt
  
• 2 cups sour cream
  
• 3 eggs
  
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  






Instructions



1. Cream butter or margarine until softened in a large mixer bowl.
   
2. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt; add to butter.
   
3. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla; blend on low speed. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into 2 or 3 greased and floured cake pans.
   
4. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
   
5. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans onto wire racks.
