List of Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
- Frosting:
- 1 lb confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. Set aside.
- In mixing bowl, cream sugar, cocoa, and butter, until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Mix well. Stir in flour, coconut, and pecans.
- Pour into baking pan. Bake 40 minutes. When done, spread marshmallow creme over top. Cool before frosting.
- Make frosting: Sift together confectioners' sugar and cocoa. Set aside. Cream butter in mixing bowl. Add sugar-cocoa mixture. Fold in evaporated milk and vanilla.
